Making a quilt from old jeans and flannel PJs

I love the way old jeans feel.  They are soft and heavy and make a great heavy duty quilt.  I saved my son's old jeans for years in hopes of making him a nice quilt out of them when I had enough.  Every time he outgrew a pair or just wore them out, I would cut them up into as many 8 inch squares as I could and put them away.  I also collected old flannel pj's and flannel sheets for the other side of the quilt.  When I had enough, I made this frayed denim quilt for him.  Each time the jean side frays,

The other side is made with the flannel scraps.  Nice and soft and warm.
